Lower Beeding Lion Awards Day
Lower Beeding Lions Junior Football club celebrated a roaring season under a sweltering June sun, at our annual Awards Day recently, at the Holbrook Sports and Social Club.
Coaches from each age group presented their awards for individual triumphs and team efforts, with accolades including the Achievement award going to one of the youngest and only female player, Ellie Walker from the U7 age group, up to one of the U15’s, Theodore Reeves who was voted Player of the Year from his squad.
The U11’s Lions celebrated their double scoop of the season by coming top of the Horsham and District League Division B, whilst also picking up the League sportsmanship award for the third year running.
Each child from the mini-soccer teams were awarded a Season's Medal for their participation and commitment throughout the year, plus an award was presented to Andrew Blair-Rains who stepped down as treasurer, for his outstanding long service to the club. Bohdana Morey, one of our U12’s Mum’s will be taking over his role.

WANTED U6/7 players!
Our thriving club has just over one hundred registered members and is currently on the lookout for some young recruits for the new U6/7 age group - years 1 and 2 next school year.

Phil is an FA Level 1 qualified coach and has coached the current U12's since they were U6 and will be taking the U6/7's age group next season. All coaches and committee members of the club have been CRB checked.
Boot Locker Thank you to all those who donated to the Boot Locker. We will be listing all the boots and trainers on the web site in due course.

All the season reports for each age group can be read on the Match Report Page, most of the new training venues, days and times for the new season are listed, plus The Hall of Fame winners, present and past. We will try to add some photos soon too. Next season’s league fixtures will be added to the site as and when they become available, usually the start of September.
Albion in the Community Summer Football Courses Please use the link below for summer holiday football courses run by Brighton and Hove Albion. It’s advisable to book early as spaces are limited.

Lions Club Award: (Both) Recognition of an individual's ‘special' contribution.
Long Service Award: (All) To an individual who has given ‘outstanding long service' to the club.
