ACTION NEEDED
FOR PHIL’S WALKING CHALLENGE!
On Saturday the 5th June Phil Keen our U7/8's coach will be attempting a 40 mile non-stop walk along the South Downs Way from Steyning to Eastbourne to raise money for the children's charity Action Medical Research.
This charity is headquartered in Horsham and for 60 years has provided much needed research into a variety of children's health issues such as polio vaccines, ultrasound scanning and the use of folic acid during pregnancy.
You can find more details are their website at www.action.org.uk
Those of you who know Phil will know this is no 'stroll in the park' and he may already be seen pounding the local streets and paths as part of his training.
Please look kindly on him but more importantly he would greatly appreciate any amount you can find, large or small, to sponsor him for this worthwhile fundraising event.
If you would like to support him you can email him at p_keen1@sky.com
