New Committee Members!
We are pleased to welcome three parents who have very kindly stepped forward and volunteered their time and services.
We welcome Mark Hayter – parent of Joshua (U7's) and Samuel (U11's) as our new chairman.
Also, Gill Woodlock (wife of James) has agreed to take over the role as Registrations Secretary, and Craig Robinson (Dad of Charlie U7's) has leapt into the role of U7's coach. We really appreciate them giving up some of their spare time to help and support the club.
We would also like to thank Jo Bailey and Lorna Hart, who have stepped down as Chairperson and Registration Secretary, for all their hard work.
THANK YOU!
Thank you to Gary Bonella of BBS Groundworks (and Plant Hire) who is our new sponsor of the current U10 squad.
With his generous sponsorship, we have been able to supply a brand new kit to the team, which was desperately needed. We really appreciate his help and support.
If you would like more information on his company, please tel: 01403 711940 / Mob: 07966 449582 or visit the Lower Beeding Lions web site.
Well Done the U 7's!
Well done to our youngest members of the club, who played in their first ever proper match (friendly) against Three Bridges this month.
Three Bridges were obviously going to be tough opponents, as they had been playing in the U8's league all season, with plenty of practice under their belts. Although our A team drew in the first game, the lads were defeated in the following games. Goal scorers were Hamish Waller and Finn Aldrich.
CONGRATULATIONS!
Well done to the Lions club players (U10's/11's) that were chosen to represent their primary schools in the recent ASSH Schools Football Tournament held at Tanbridge House School .
Special Congratulations go to Lower Beeding Primary School , which came first.
They fought off their fellow lions team players from St. Andrews , Nuthurst, Cowfold and Rusper.
Other schools that also took part were: Colgate, Warnham and Jolesfield (Partridge Green)
NEW BALLS!

They are planning to leave next month. We wish them lots of luck and hope they enjoy their time there.
