WE NEED YOUR HELP!!
We desperately need volunteers to step forward and join the committee as soon as possible!
The vacant positions are:
• CHAIRPERSON – This involves taking committee meetings, usually once every other month in a local hostelry. Jo has decided to step down due to extra work commitments. We wish her all the best for the future and thank her for all her support and help that she has given to the club.
• REGISTRATION SECRETARY – This involves registering teams and players with the club and league, co-ordinating with coaches and committee members and dealing with subscriptions. Lorna is starting a degree course soon and needs someone to fill her shoes. She is prepared to assist the new Reg Secretary at the beginning to show them the ropes. We also wish Lorna all the best for the future and thank her for all her hard work.
• REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE LOWER BEEDING ASSOCIATION – We need a parent preferably from Lower Beeding/Mannings Heath/Nuthurst to attend LBA meetings every two months.
• PARENT REPRESENTATIVES for all groups apart for the current U14's – To assist the registration process and attend committee meetings.
For our club to continue and run smoothly we need your support.
I am sure parents don't realise how much exactly goes on behind the scenes. With more involvement from parents we shall lighten the load and continue with a club that is going forward. It is very rewarding being on a committee such as this and doesn't take up as much time as you think!
